My career history has predominantly been in Early Childhood Education.

After completing my Higher School Certificate I attended and graduated from Nursery School Teachers College. I taught and travelled and then gained employment with Seiko Time Pty Ltd in the Credit Department as well as relief reception. I then worked for Warman International Pty Ltd a mechanical engineering company in a shared receptionists/clerical role before having children and moving to the Blue Mountains.

I moved back to Sydney and returned to Education. I then worked in the Library for two local Primary Schools and as a Teachers Aide Special for the Department of Education assisting with the inclusion of children with additional needs into the early years of Primary School.

I returned to study and completed two Graduate Diplomas in Children's Literature and Reading and Early Childhood(Special Education). I then began work in the field of Inclusion with two Preschools, Sydney Day Nursery and Hornsby Shire Council.

I took up the position of Director with Hornsby Shire Council and then as a trainer/teacher with Bedford College  teaching Certificate Three and Diploma students in Early Childhood studies. I returned to teaching for a year in 2009.
